Shuttle to Ward Hall

Hi everyone,
Ward Hall isn't all that hard to get to from Lexington, but we thought that it might be a good idea to book a shuttle to get people to and from the wedding, just in case.  So here is the plan. We will have a shuttle making two runs from the Embassy Suites.  The first will leave at 2:15, and the second will leave at 3:15.
We have a 14 passenger van that will be making hourly trips from Ward Hall back to the Embassy Suites and the Clarion, beginning right after dinner, at 8:00.
So... to help with the planning, and to figure out whether we are over or underestimating the number of people who will be using the shuttle, please send Krista an email letting her know whether you think you will be using the shuttle, or whether you are more likely to just drive yourself to/ from Ward Hall.
Krista's email address is krista.jacobsen "at" uky.edu (trying to avoid spam there...).
See you in a week and a half,
-Krista and Doug

Hotel Rooms

Hi everyone,
We put this up earlier, but it is kind of buried in the list of posts...  We have a block of rooms reserved at the Embassy Suites on the north side of town.  It is located between Georgetown and Lexington, so it should be convenient for both the ceremony and for sight seeing in town.  Just click here to go to our block of rooms and reserve your spot.

We also have rooms blocked out at the Clarion Hotel, which is right across the street.  It also evidently has a game room, so you can go to the wedding, then head back to the hotel and play ping-pong...

Looking forward to seeing you,
-Doug and Krista

Places to Explore In and Around Lexington

Shaker Village
Located about 30 minutes from Lexington at Pleasant Hill, this is America’s largest restored Shaker religious community. There are 34 original buildings from the 19th century, 40 miles of hiking trails on over 3,000 acres of land, and lodging and dining at the Inn. Where to eat in Lexington

Hi everyone,
Back again with more wedding related details.  Just in case you were wondering what you could do on a visit to Lexington, aside from attending our wedding, we are posting a few lists.  These lists may have started their respective lives as part of the welcome packet for a conference that Krista helped to plan a little while ago, but they have been updated, so there are a few newly opened restaurants on there as well.
Plenty to do in the Bluegrass.  And lots of great cycling too, in case you happen to be traveling on two wheels.
